About the Game:
IFG is played in sync with real life Professional Golf Tournaments. These tournaments are handpicked from the major tournaments in the international golf calendar season.

The aim of the game is to select a team from amongst the world class players participating in the tournament who can score the most for you. How? Players you select in your fantasy team score points for you based on their performance in the actual tournament. As the tour progresses, you accumulate more and more points. These points can be exchanged for goodies at the IFL Redeem Gifts Store!

If your team does exceptionally well there are some amazing prizes as well!

Registration:
They say there’s one difference between life and golf – you can give up life!
Tee off and get into action!

Register by providing some basic information about yourself. If you have registered on IFC or IFT recently, you can use the same ID and create a team for IFG as well. As soon as you do that, you are all set for an experience of a lifetime.

Name your team and if you want you can give it your own slogan and a description too. Your team will even get its own page where others can come and watch your performance. At the end of each day, the scores for your players and team will be updated within a short time. Ranks for top 100 teams will also be displayed on the website.

Late Registrations:
In case you have reached us after the start of the current tournament, don’t fret – as the old saying goes better late than never, you can still be a part of the most exciting online fantasy golf game.

Team Creation:
Select a team of your choice from the complete list of players participating in the Tournament. You’ll need to select your team of 10 players of whom two will be your anchor players. Remember to pick these two with a lot more care because the anchor players cannot be changed during the course of the tournament.

Of the rest you will be allowed 6 transfers per day as per the tournament rules.

The players who are eliminated from the competition after the cut has been announced become inactive in the player list – so the choices keep narrowing down as we draw closer to the end of the tournament on IFG.

Remember, Indian Fantasy Golf is played on a daily basis. To maximize your points, make sure you log in everyday and select a team based on the player’s performance and select new players to replace the ones eliminated from the competition.

Player Performance - As the game progresses, if you would like to review the performance of any player in the tour before deciding on selecting him in your team you can do that by going into the Player Statistics section. Simply select the Player name whose performance you’d like to review and you will get the scores they earned on Indian Fantasy Golf.

Player Costs:
Each of the professionals participating in the tournament will readily become a part of your team but they come at a price. To begin with, you are provided a credit pool and you can buy your team using only these given credits. The credits for each player has been determined by our panel of experts.

Whenever you take on a player in your team the amount you pay for him gets debited from your credit pool. When you remove a player from your list the cost gets credited back, but the points he scored for you stay with you! What‘s more important is that the player’s cost is Dynamic – which simply means that the cost depends on the performance of the player. If he plays well his cost will go up and if he doesn’t perform his cost goes down!

Transfer Rules:
As the manager of your team you have a right to transfer your players – but you cannot use more credits than you have in your kitty. On transfer of players, the value of every player decided by IFG will be applicable and an equal amount of money will be either credited or debited from your kitty.

Once you have selected the 2 anchor players you can change them any number of times up to one hour before the start of the first day’s play of a particular tournament. After that they cannot be changed during the tournament.
 
Transfers of other players can be made daily. Of the 8 non anchor players you are allowed to change 6 everyday but this is allowed only till 1 hour before the start of the Game every day.

If a manager fails to change his team anytime his existing team will be carried forward to the next match day. This will happen till the end of tournament. At the start of a new tournament, he has to create a new team. He will retain the points accumulated by his previous players going into the next tournament despite all changes.

Scoring Rules:
Your selected players will earn points for you based on the standard score calculating system developed for Indian Fantasy Golf:

The scores will be updated at the end of each day automatically and the latest rankings will be available within a short time.

Top Teams - You can view the current top scoring teams at any point of time during the tournament on the LEADER BOARD.

Winners:
Winners on Indian Fantasy Golf will be adjudged on the following basis:

• The teams with the maximum points at the end of the tour will be declared winners.
• In case there is a tie, the team that has been created earlier will be declared winner.
• In case there is a tie on both the above criterion, the team that has made a lesser number of transfers will be declared winner.
• In the unlikely event of a tie in the above scenario, the winner will be declared by our panel of experts. Note that the decision of the panel will be binding.

Prize Distribution

• Winners will only be eligible for one prize for all phases of a tournament.
• All winners will be given the prize of higher value during the tournament. In case of repetition of identities, the other IDs will stand annulled irrespective of position/ranking and prizes will be awarded to the next eligible winner.
• User must enter a valid email address to be eligible for prizes. If the user does not respond to within 21 days of our communication the prize stands forfeited.
• Prize distribution will take place after the conclusion of the series and after information is sent to the winner of their having won a prize.

All prizes will be given at the end of the game - when the tournament concludes!
